What is Multi- Body Licensing?

Multi-body licensing allows you to adjust your truck's licensing category to match how it's being used. If you're not operating at its current licensed capacity, you can step it down and significantly reduce your registration costs - saving you money while keeping everything fully compliant.

How do I change my truck's licence category?

Your truck's licence category can be changed on a daily basis by simply submitting a quick form via email - a straight forward process that will be fully explained to you by Dave when your truck is ready to collect.

Can my truck be Multi-Body licensed?

Any American built chasis, and some European trucks such as Volvos, can be fitted with the MTS tray. Please call Dave to confirm.

What is the process to get my truck Multi-Body Licensed?

Call Dave to chat about the type of truck you have
Book your truck in
Leave your truck at the MTS Workshop for approximately 2 days
Your turntable will be removed, and the MTS tray will be fitted to your truck
A certified modification plate will be fitted
Your truck will be weighed at a weigh bridge for a tare weight
Your truck will be taken over the pits for a comprehensive inspection by a DoT Vehicle Examiner
After passing the pit inspection your truck will have the Turntable re-fitted with new bolts
Your truck is ready for pick up, and the licensing process will be fully explained to you
